
Dr. Jitka Nemcova
Dr Jitka Nemcova has worked in healthcare, including roles as a nurse in cardiology, psychiatry and geriatrics, and in particular in healthcare education. Dr Nemcova currently focuses her main activities on the education of non-medical healthcare professionals.
Dr Nemcova has taught at school of healthcare for five years, after which she served as its director for a further eight years. She then spent five years working at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports as an administrator in the field of healthcare education.
Since 2014 Dr Nemcova held the position of Rector at the College of Healthcare, having previously been the Director of the College of Healthcare for two years, for four years as a member of the academic staff, and for three years as Vice-Rector for Educational Activities.
Dr Nemcova is currently Vice-Chair of the Czech Rectors' Conference for Legislation and Internal Affairs, Chair of the Chamber of Private Universities and the Council of the Centre for Higher Education Studies. She is also a member of the Scientific Councils of other universities in the Czech Republic.
