Mr. Vladimir Bastl

Throughout Vladimir’s career he has gained experience in many areas, including team management, customer service, and visual merchandising. While his journey has been challenging, Vladimir embraces learning from both successes and mistakes, and welcomes opportunities which involve challenge.

Vladimir is able to keep a cool head in tense situations, drawing upon his background in acting studies, and his experience from previous jobs, Vladimir is active in the Peer Club at Bohnice Hospital which is a leisure club for patients hospitalized at PN Bohnice, offering a wide range of leisure facilities including computers with internet access, Xbox, a library, board and card games, and guitars. The Peer Club also offers peer consultations and guided clubs (calligraphy, creative writing, painting). The club has a capacity of 25 visitors and visitors always choose how they want to spend their time.

Peer therapists have been a stable part of PN Bohnice for several years, being full members of healthcare teams In some departments, as where they provide support, motivation, and hope to patients based on their own experiences. While their expertise is different from doctors, nurses, psychotherapists, and psychologists, they are experts in their own recovery, and help patients find their strengths and support them in finding their own path to recovery.
